It looks like the process has started for the Ottawa City Commission possibly opening the door to residents having chickens. During the City Commission Study Session, Ottawa Planner, Jenna Hillyer told about some preliminary research she had done:
The City of Ottawa allows chickens under certain restrictions……commissioners say the research into other cities that allow chickens may be a guide to what Ottawa should do about the subject.
