Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsak has just announced the proposed new nutrition standards for school meals and if history is any guide, there is bound to be some controversy of those guidelines. Vilsak says he expects there will be a lot of praise for the rules as well as some push back, but the key is to get them just right:
He adds that there may not be as much opposition to the proposed guidelines this time because they are being phased in gradually over 5 or 6 years.
