Two projects that may be built with help from the Housing Investor Tax Credit Program may succeed because of the City of Ottawa’s support; but in fact, Ottawa has nothing to do with the projects. Ottawa Finance Director, Melanie Landis, and City Manager Richard Nienstedt, clarified the issue:
The two projects, if approved under the Housing Tax Credit Program, would involve construction of four single family homes and seven duplexes.
