When Grandpa Barry’s Guitars, in Downtown Ottawa announced their closing a couple months ago,it was going to leave a building empty in the downtown area. That disturbed Dan and Denice Metrovich, who came to Ottawa a year and half ago and fell in love with the city the first time they drove down Main Street. Dan makes his own custom guitars and diddley bows and had a booth in the building. Denice tells us what happened next:
Some hard work made it happen and they opened Ottawa Hidden Treasures in the building last week. Booths include Maggies Popcorn and Nuts, Pinet Pottery, there is artwork, home décor, antiques and collectables, Dan’s Guitars, and much more. They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 to 5:00.
