The Ottawa City Commission has approved replacing the ultra-violet disinfection system at the Ottawa Water Reclamation Facility. Utilities Director, Dennis Tharp explained the purpose of the system during the Regular City Commission Meeting.
The new system will cost over half a million dollars but will be paid for from Federal Funds appropriated for pandemic relief.
