Sometimes they say reality is stranger than fiction……that could apply to an incident related to the Wizard of Oz saga…the story has been the subject of much interesting discussion surrounding the fairy tale. A program was held at Ottawa Memorial Auditorium featuring Chris Glasgow, Curator of the Wizard of Oz Museum in Wamego…..she told the audience about an ironic story of the scarecrow:
