If you are heading to Florida any time soon, be sure to take a Kansas Turnpike K-Tag with you. Why? The Kansas Turnpike Authority’s Electronic Toll Collection Device, known as K-Tag, is now accepted on most Florida Toll roads and, if you’ve been to Florida, you know there are a lot of toll roads.
Kansa Turnpike Association CEO Steve Hewitt, says this comes at a pivotal time, as many toll roads, including the Kansas Turnpike, are working on becoming cashless and using a compatible electronic transponder is the most efficient way to pay a toll. Nearly all toll roads in the state of Florida will accept the K-Tag.
