There was a big announcement Monday, March 6, during the Ottawa City Commission Study Session. The announcement of Ottawa’s next City Manager. City Attorney Blaine Finch introduced Brian Silcott:
Silcott says he has felt nothing but welcome by everyone in Ottawa. Silcott was one of 26 people who applied for the job, including at least one from Canada. Current City Manager, Richard Nienstedt, is retiring at the end of the month.
