The Franklin County Commission has given its approval to upgrading to full maintenance three-fourths of a mile of road from the 400 to 550 block of Texas Road north of Butler Terrace. Public Works Director David Lee says it all started with a request from a homeowner, who would like to build a house on their property, and would like the county to maintain the road:
Lee says the upgraded road will also benefit a number of other landowners in the area. The commission unanimously approved the request and maintenance on the road can start immediately.
