The Wellsville Police Department wants to slow people down on I-35……but to do that it requires a bit of annexation. Wellsville Police Chief, Danny Hackler, told the City Council what he has in mind.
Hackler says it’s only by annexation that he can issue citations for traffic violations of motorists passing by Wellsville. Hackler says a speed survey on I-35 shows many cars are traveling at 100 miles an hour or faster.
