Ottawa City Manager, Richard Nienstedt, attended his last Regular Commission Meeting as City Manager, yesterday, March 15. He had this message for Commissioners from he and his wife, Rita, saying it has been their honor to serve Ottawa for the last 16 years:
Brian Silcott has been selected as the new City Manager for Ottawa. He has served 15 years as the City Manager for Goddard.
A Retirement Reception will be held for Nienstedt, this afternoon,March 16th, from 2:00 to 4:00 at Ottawa City Hall. The public is invited to the reception to wish him well. His last day on the job will be March 31st.
