USD 290 is losing a great educator and administrator. Longtime Ottawa Administrator and Lincoln Elementary Principal, Austin Entress announced, in a letter sent to Lincoln parents on Thursday evening, March 23rd, that he was resigning at the end of this school year and has accepted a position at the Greenbush Education Services in Lawrence as their Assistant Director of Administrative Services.
He says that helping all of the kids grow has been an amazing blessing in his life and one that he hasn’t taken for granted. However, he feels the time is right to accept a new challenge. He went on to say his family will still be around the community and he looks forward to watching all of the Lincoln kids grow up and see them around town.
