City Manager, Richard Nienstedt retires in a few days…….and the final message he had for the City Commission in his final meeting with them, was on a serious note…………Nienstedt says local government may be our last hope:
Nienstedt says local government may be what saves the Country. Nienstedt says Ottawa is by far the favorite city he has worked in. His last official day on the job will be Friday, March 31. His wife, Rita, will quickly whisk him away the next day as they plan to travel to Arkansas for some well deserved vacation time.
