A change has been made in the proposed Parental Bill of Rights that is now under consideration in the Kansas Legislature…and the change is receiving applause from school districts. Ottawa School Superintendent, Dr. Ryan Cobbs talked about the change:
Cobbs also says a Bill that would mandate salary increases for teachers and other staff could impose a heavy financial burden on districts….even causing some less wealthy districts to go bankrupt.
