The trash truck explosion a few days ago near AdventHealth Ottawa gave a scare to a lot of people……but at the same time, it also gave a good work-out, of sorts, of the City and County’s Emergency Response Plans. Franklin County Sheriff Jeff Richards described the incident to the County Commission:
Authorities determined the explosion was a pneumatic tool that was ejected out of the truck and hit a trash worker.
