The placement of a sign in front of Ottawa Memorial Auditorium is causing some action to be taken over historical concerns. The sign technically doesn’t fit into certain Historical District Guidelines and therefore has been rejected by the State Historical Preservation Override Entity…also known as SHPO…….City Attorney, Blaine Finch, explained the procedure for the City Commission to override the objection:
