The month of May is Community Action Month and the Franklin County Commission approved a Proclamation in recognition of the event. Accepting the Proclamation was Teresia Templeton, Human Services Coordinator for ECKAN. She told the Commission about the local homeless problem:
Templeton thanked the county for its cooperation with ECKAN in confronting homelessness, as well as other social problems in the county.
