Eco-activist, Rob Greenfield, has turned his cheeks on consumerism. He has stopped using toilet paper, and he wants you to, too. He is touring the country as part of his “grow your own toilet paper initiative”Grow Your Own Toilet Paper” initiative, introducing people to the blue spur flower plant which produces abundant leaves that are extremely soft and durable and he calls them the Charmin of the garden. Each leaf is about the size of a piece of toilet paper, and the plants grow leaves at a rad rate. He does add that the leaves can’t be flushed, but you can throw them in the trash or, do what he does, composts them along with the waste he produces and use it for his garden…um….no!
