The Ottawa City Commission is in discussion of many projects for future years in the Capital Improvement Program. One of those projects that may come up soon is the reconstruction of the taxiway and construction of new hangers at the Ottawa Municipal Airport. Finance Director Melanie Landis describes the projects:
The new T-Hangers could be built as soon at 2024, with a $720,000 Grant from the Federal Aviation Association and $80,000 for the airport fund. There is a waiting list for hangers and it is expected the new hangers will be rented before they are completed.
