Accusations of falsehoods flew during the latest meeting of the Ottawa Planning Commission….and it all has to do with a proposed housing project near 19th and Princeton. Karen Harris of 1801 South Princeton told the Commission the developer, Belmont Development Company of Oklahoma City, has not been upfront with residents and this provoked a response from company representative Derrick Hamilton:
In the end, the Planning Commission approved the Final Plat with the understanding that driveways and a privacy fence, which were requested by residents, be installed. The issue of stormwater runoff still appears to be largely an open question.
Final approval of the project will rest with the Ottawa City Commission
