We are just getting an update on a fatal motorcycle accident that happened in rural Franklin County last Friday, June 16th. Franklin County deputies were called to the 2900 block of Florida road just before 10:00 Friday night. Upon arrival, they found a motorcycle in the west ditch along with 27-year-old Brandon Wadewitz, of Ottawa, who was deceased.
At this time, it is not known what caused him to leave the roadway and crash. Wadewitz leaves behind his wife, who he married this past December. He leaves two sons, a daughter, and a baby on the way. A Celebration of Life will be held at On Cue in downtown Ottawa at noon, Saturday, June 23rd. To help with funeral expenses, a Go-Fund Me page has been started and a poker run for Brandon will be held at a later date, to help the family with unexpected costs.
