We have an update on the fatal shooting and stabbing at Hillsdale Lake Tuesday, June 20th. Just after midnight that day, emergency responders were called to the Pintail Point Campground at the lake for a report of a stabbing and a shooting. Once on scene they found an adult male with a gunshot wound, who was deceased, identified as 43-year-old Bryan Hendrickson of Edgerton. Another male on scene was suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment and later released.
Fifty three year-old Brian Meysenburg, of Overland Park was arrested for 2nd degree murder and the case has been submitted to the Miami County Attorney’s Office for formal charges. Miami County Sheriff’s officials say no more information will be released at this time and they are asking that if anyone has any information about the case to please call them, as the investigation is ongoing.
