The new Hope Bus Mobile Food Pantry sure drew a lot of attention when it came to Ottawa yesterday, June 22nd. Human Resources Business Partner, Lara O’Conner, says it was another opportunity for Ottawans to get healthy food:
The food bus was in the AdventHealth Ottawa Health Park at 9th and Main from 3:00 to 4:00 yesterday. During that hour, 71 households, representing 239 people, including 28 seniors age 65 and older and 99 children under the age of 17 were served. O’Conner says they will get the word out on the next time the new Hope Bus will be in town.
