A drug bust in franklin County. Yesterday afternoon,June 27th, the Franklin County Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Monroe Street in Pomona, regarding an investigation into methamphetamine distribution. Thirty three year-old Taylor Marsh was arrested on four counts of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, no drug tax stamp, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. The investigation include the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Ottawa Police Department, Franklin County Drug Enforcement Unit and the Northeast Kansas Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force
The sheriff’s office says the investigation had been going on for weeks and credits the public for patience while they gathered evidence for a strong criminal case, to forward to the Franklin County Attorney’s Office. They encourage anyone with information about illegal drug sales to contact them as a strong community partnership is the most valuable resources they have to identify and investigate most types of criminal activity.
