Neighbors of the proposed Hidden Lakes Subdivision near 19th and Princeton are voicing concerns about certain things in the proposal. One of those things is stormwater runoff. Gary Harris who lives at 1801 Princeton, told Ottawa City Commissioners that the stormwater runoff plan won’t work, based on a two inch and hour rainfall, due to the water not being able to filter through the grass and trees as it does now.
Commissioners are hearing more discussion about the project at Monday’s Study Session and could make a final decision on the project at Wednesday’s regular meeting.
