A longtime sports design company has changed hands. Tommy and Jayme Morris, who started “Design 4 Sports” in their garage over two decades ago and it grew to its current location on South Silver Street after acquiring Holderman Printing in 2012. The good news for the Morris’s is they are selling to a local family. Paul and Marcy Seaman will take over the business. Marcy being a teacher for 17 years and Paul being a volunteer firefighter for Paola and with the Northwest consolidated Fire Department in Johnson County.
Marcy says she needed a new way to express her creativity and Design 4 Sports answered that call. Design 4 Sports is a one-stop shop for apparel and much more with printing, banners, promotional items, custom signs and shipping. The business offers custom athletic apparel and can also customize work wear, uniforms, hats and more with screen printing and embroidery. Printing items include business cards, paper printing, envelopes, copies and invitations. Promotional items feature mugs, pens, tumblers and water bottles. Custom signs vary from license plates to yard signs, posters, decals, stickers and more.
