
An injury accident in Franklin County yesterday, afternoon, July 24th, left three people with serious injuries. Just before 5:00 yesterday afternoon, a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Ralph Keyse, from Lane, was southbound on Tennessee Road when he failed to stop at the stop sign at K-68, and struck the side of a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Cara Brooks of Osawatomie. The impact leaving her car in a field and Keyse’s truck in the ditch. Both Keyes and Brooks, along with Brooks passenger, 21-year-old Alexander Best-Kimes of Concordia, with serious injuries. Keyes was taken to AdventHealth Ottawa, Brooks to KU Medical Center and Kimes to Overland Park Regional for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
