The decision by Ottawa Family Physicians to no longer guarantee 24 hour coverage of delivering babies at AdventHealth Ottawa came up for discussion during the regular meeting of the Ransom Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees. AdventHealth Ottawa CEO Dallas Purkeypile says the clock is ticking.
Purkeypile says they are in contact with several different medical groups in an attempt to continue to guarantee 24 hour a day service for new infants and mothers.
