People call the ambulance for all type of emergencies but is there a way to reduce certain types of calls? That’s the questions Franklin County Officials are taking on. During a Franklin County Commission Study Session, County Administrator Derek Brown and EMS Chief Christi Hilliker discussed studying what kind of emergencies ambulance crews respond to.
EMS Chief Hilliker told the County Commission that rather than trading in an ambulance when it gets to be a certain age she is going to look at each vehicle on an individual basis and keep those that are in still good condition even if they do have a high mileage.
