The 37 Annual Dare Camp wrapped up on Saturday with just under 100 campers completing the camp. The campers got to participate in a multitude of activities including wall climbing, air rifle, archery, kayaking and more, along with learning how to avoid getting involved in drugs and alcohol as they grow older. One counselor at the camp, Justin Farrell has been a counselor at the camp for 16 years and he talks about what keeps him coming back:
One camper, Isabel, says that the camp is fun and she would tell future campers that may be little afraid of coming…
The annual camp comes at no charge for the campers, who are all incoming 6th graders at Franklin County schools. We’ll have more Dare Camp reports from campers and staff as the week goes on.
