Tomorrow is National 811 Safe Digging Day. And, with fall gardening season coming up soon, you might think twice before digging up your yard to plant. Dale Tripp is the Manager of Public Relations at Kansas Gas. She says no matter how large or small your digging project is, it is essential to call 811 before digging.
She says you need to call 811 at least two days before your digging begins so that it can give the utilities time to prepare and make accurate marking of any underground piping in the area.
