Ottawa Recreation Commission has announced that Recreation Manager, Payton Whaler has been recognized as one of the “30 Leaders Under 30” in the state of Kansas. Officials at the ORC said Payton has been a tremendous asset to the organization and continues to improve the community through recreation.
The Leadership program is a program specifically started in Kansas by a partnership of the Department of Commerce and the Kansas Freemasons, in order to recognize and honor the exceptional and talented of the next generation, and encourage them to make their entire career in Kansas.
Whaler is from Sublette, Kansas and attended Kansas Wesleyan University. She will also be an Assistant Basketball Coach at the Ottawa Middle school for the boys teams this year. Congratulations.
