The Ottawa City Commission has approved a new 2024 Operating Budget of almost $57 million. During the regular Commission Meeting, Ottawa Finance Director, Melanie Landis talked about the mill rate which exceeded the revenue neutral rate:
The City Commission had to hold a Public Hearing on the budget first, and then approved the budget on a unanimous vote.
