Fentanyl is getting the attention of a lot of people. The drug that Sheriff Richards says poisons people because they don’t know they are taking it, as it is usually laced on other drugs, caught the attention of Franklin County Commissioner Ianne Dickinson, who compared it to taking other known drugs like meth and cocaine:
The Ottawa Police and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office say that the drug is at epidemic levels around the nation and several people have died from poisonings in our area and even more have been saved by narcan.
