The AdventHealth Ottawa Volunteer Program was awarded the Gold Award of Excellence once again, at the Joint Kansas Hospital Association and Hospital Volunteers of Kansas luncheon recently. In order to receive this award, nine requirements must be fulfilled. Some of those include community involvement, new services, healthcare scholarships, promoting fellowship, contributing articles to the newsletter and more.
The local Hospital Volunteer Program has received the Gold Award of Excellence since it began in 1988.
