We have a detour to tell you about that could affect your morning commute. A bridge on John Brown Road, just east of Pomona Road will be closed this morning for repairs. Franklin County Public Works is asking the public to drive very cautiously and be aware of the closure. They do have a recommended detour. Traffic coming from Highway 59 headed east should turn south on Montana Road to Ellis Road. Go east on Ellis to Oregon Road then north to John Brown Road.
Those coming from the east headed west should turn on Oregon Road and proceed to Ellis Road, then go west on Ellis to Highway 59.
The bridge will be closed for about a week. Stay tuned to KOFO for further updates on the progress of the repairs. The detour route is posted on our facebook page.
