Two people were arrested in Pomona following an incident involving a gun. Friday night, October 13th, about 10:40, a Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputy, patrolling Pomona, heard gunshots coming from a vehicle in the 800 block of K-88 and conducted a traffic stop on that vehicle. As a result of the stop, 21-year-old Christopher Baber, of Pomona was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of a firearm under the influence. Also, 22-year-old Remington Larson, of Kinsley was arrested for criminal discharge of a firearm, possession of a firearm under the influence and transporting an open container. Both were transported to the Franklin County Corrections Facility and will see a judge today, Monday October 26th, for bond.
