A write-up in a recent Newsletter sent to Cities all over Kansas is getting a lot of attention. Ottawa City Manager brian Silcott says the City Electrical Department was highlighted in the Kansas Municipalities, Municipal Utilities News Dispatch that covered the power plant operator workshop hosted by Ottawa.
City Officials have previously said that in many cases, the City has electrical parts on hand that can be given to other towns in a prompt fashion so the City in need doesn’t have long waiting times to get a critical part for their electrical system.
