Lieutenant governor and secretary of commerce David Toland announced 13 manufacturers have been accepted into the department’s made in Kansas program. Made in Kansas is sponsored by the Kansas Department of Commerce to help promote Kansas manufacturers to customers across Kansas and around the globe, one of those in Baldwin city. Jawbats is a custom wood baseball bat manufacturing company specializing in top of the line professional grade wood baseball bats for youth to professional baseball players since 2012. They have a goal for all their bats. Feel as if it was thoughtfully made specifically for the customer.
To join the made in Kansas program, a business must manufacture and have more than half the components come from Kansas, final assembly must take place in Kansas and be a Kansas-headquartered company.
