Another case of fentanyl poisoning in Ottawa. First responders with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Franklin County EMS responded to the 2400 block of Old 50 Highway Sunday night around 8. Once on scene they found a 35-year-old Ottawa man who had apparently overdosed on an unknown drug. He was transported to Advent Health Ottawa for treatment. Sheriff Jeff Richards.
The Sheriff’s department says that charges for possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia will be forwarded to the County Attorney’s Office pending lab results on the substance in question.
