The Coffey County Sheriff’s office received a call of an injury accident on K-31 Highway yesterday morning, January 5th, at 6:58. The driver, 34 year-old Alex Higbie of Pomona, died at the scene after being ejected from a 2008 Dodge truck, which rolled multiple times. Roads were dry at the time and next-of-kin have been notified. Our condolences go out to his family.
