Recently, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department hosted some pretty prestigious training session at the Sam SMith Training Center on Beech Street. Sheriff Jeff Richards says it was FBI Leadership Training and they were able to host the executive branch of the training.
Those three are Undersheriff Kyle Laswell, Lieutenant Ryan Ferguson, and Detective Corporal Jeremy Thompson. The training ran all last week. Richards says over 30 officers from around the area participated. This week, the Department of Justice is providing some training to local officers.
