The roads in Franklin County took a beating during the recent winter storms, but the current warm spell is certainly hopeful. Franklin County Public Works Director, David Lee says roads are slowly recovering. He also Said they are painfully aware of road conditions and have been working on them seven days a week.
Officials says the extreme cold penetrated the ground in such a way that it will take somewhat longer than normal for everything to thaw out.
