The Franklin County Conservation District is helping out farmers who may be involved in grain bin accidents. During the Annual District Meeting, District Manager Keri Harris spelled out some details of the project:
Grain bin accidents have become more prominent in recent years. 2021 is the most recent year for which figures are available and in that year there were 29 grain entrapments resulting in 11 fatalities nationwide.
