The tragic shooting at the end of the Kansas City Chiefs parade has put a deep shadow on an otherwise happy day for the hundreds of thousands of people who turned out. Ottawa City Commissioner Zach Clayton was in attendance, and he gave some heartfelt comments at the end of the City Commission meeting:
Clayton added that he was thankful for all the officers that quickly responded and saved lives of those already wounded and others in the area.
