A two vehicle accident occurred in the 2500 block of K-68 Highway in Ottawa yesterday morning, February 16th. At approximately 9:12, 62 year-old James Ast of Burlington was crossing K-68 Highway from Eisenhower Road, in his 2019 Honda CR-V, when he was struck by 32 year-old Jessica Malson of Pomona, who was driving a 2019 GMC Acadia.
Malson and a 70 year old passenger in Ast’s vehicle sustained minor injuries and were transported by Franklin County EMS. Damages are estimated to be over a thousand dollars.
