It’s a busy time at the Ottawa Library. They are right in the middle of a major annual event, the O-Town Reads Program. This year, the book is “100 Years of Lenni and Margot”. It’s about two women, both terminally ill, one 17 years old, the other 83 years old. Both know they don’t have long to live and they want people to know their story.

Youth services librarian Paula Patterson with more:

The book celebrates the idea of friendship, sharing life stories, and how they choose to live their final days. Patterson, and youth services manager Cyndi Brewer are our guests on this week’s Community Perspective. They talk about other things, like the Children’s Literature Fest and other upcoming events. Tune in tomorrow morning, February 18th, at 8:04 to hear the entire conversation.
