The Franklin County Emergency Medical Services Department gave its report to the County Commission for the third quarter of 2023. EMS Director Christi Hilliker says sometimes there are calls and then no patient can be found:
Hilliker says there is a bill in the Kansas Legislature that would allow ambulances to go out with only one attendant instead of the current two attendants. She says it would mostly affect western Kansas.
