The first of several fundraisers to benefit the Franklin County Historical Society is just a few weeks away. Historical Society Director, Diana Staresinic-Deane says it is slated for early April:
Staresinic-Deane says the fundraiser goal for the 5k event is $20,000. She admits it’s quite an ambitious goal, compared to the approximately $6,000 raised last year. She hopes to have a total of four fundraisers this year, but details on the others are still being worked out.
