An accident around 10 years ago just about put the Kansas City Wolf nearly out of business. That’s one takeaway from a presentation by Dan Meers at Ottawa University. Meers is the KC Wolf. He says November 2013 was a fateful time:

Meers had multiple broken ribs and other serious injuries, and spent nine days in the hospital. He says the doctor told him he was lucky to even be alive. Meers says he had to decide to keep feeling sorry for himself or to thank God for still being alive.
